Stacie Layne Virden, OD, FAAO decided to become an eye doctor when she was only 16 years old. She had grown up going to the local optometrist’s office, first for her mom’s appointments and not long after for her own. After a visit to their small town optometrist for treatment, she decided this was the job for her.

It's hard to express everything this place is. First off it's always easy to tell the soul of a company by the employees countenance. It feels like the place is family not corporate. They talk to you like they are your friend and everything revolves around your needs. I've been wearing glasses for 20 years and their equipment feels like it comes from the future in comparison to what I'm used to. When I got my glasses i was impressed with how good they look and feel. I really don't know I'm wearing them most of the time. The difference in the lenses I'm used to makes me feel like I got them from the future. I believe all this is because the owners and the employees come to work everyday doing the best they can always trying to be better. That's my work ethic too. It's a rare thing and precious.
